Bloc Party.
They have been one of my favorite bands for quite awhile.
I was playing the old Tony Hawk's Underground skateboarding video game when their song "Like Eating Glass" started playing. I wanted to know more about that song because i was instantly in love with it. I looked it up and then found more music that related to me. I love them...
Daft Punk.
I was never really into them until about a year ago...
I started listening to their mainstream music like "Robot Rock" and "One More Time"
Then i got into more of their underground work.
Have Heart.
They originated in Boston, (The place where I was created!!!)
And they play hardcore music, which is what i've always been into.
I had no idea about Have Heart until my little cousin (who's exactly 2 minutes and 31 seconds younger than me) started listening to this song called "Hard Bark On The Family Tree."
I ended up seeing them live, one of their last shows ever.
The Black Keys.
They're from Akron O.H (where my aunt lives)
If you've ever through Akron, i'm damn sure that you will hear about The Black Keys at least once.
They are a great Blues/Rock band.
Andrew W.K
One of my goals in life is to get punched in the face my this man.
Don't ask why, it's just what i've always wanted to do.
But, i heard about Andrew W.K at my friend's house.
I was like "Who the hell is this? this is some party music!"
and then i ended up buying this album,
and jamming the fuck out.
I'll see him live someday.
The Postal Service.
I remember the fist night I heard "Such Great Heights"
I was in my room, in a 3rd floor apartment.
Home alone... I turn on the radio to hear something i've never heard before.
It was so awesome.
I never got the words until i met Joey though...
And now the singer is in another one of my favorite bands
Death Cab For Cutie.
Bye for now!
I love you Joey!
